It is evident both by the clear prophecy of the Scriptures
more than 1800 years ago and by the obvious fruit of the
modern day "Church" that we are in the time foretold where
"if it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived"
  This is a clear warning sign of the end of the age.  We are
in the latter days and the general apostasy (An abandonment
of what one has professed; a total desertion, or departure
from one's faith or religion) is manifest all around us.

This great departure is not simply or usually by a verbal
profession of departure but is made by a CHANGE in beliefs,
practices and fruit which come about by the DECEPTION of
those who ONCE "have professed" a true belief but now through
ignorance and deception have totally deserted and departed
from the "saving knowledge of Truth."

They are bound by the LIES of the devil and have believed a
lie...

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you
these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he
might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity
doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until
he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom Yahushua shall consume with the spirit of his
mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with
all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 AND WITH ALL DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IN THEM
THAT PERISH; BECAUSE THEY RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE
TRUTH, THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED. 11 AND FOR THIS CAUSE GOD
SHALL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A
LIE:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Are YOU receiving a LOVE OF THE TRUTH???  We see, with our
own eyes and hear with our own ears, continuously, those
who profess a religion, call themselves Christians, but do
NOT love the Truth.  They REJECT Truth because it does not
fit into their COMFORT zone.

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people,
even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not
hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

The Scriptures, contrary to the feel-good, Joel Osteen
gospel - ANOTHER GOSPEL - of today's Churches teach clearly
that the Almighty is going to send a STRONG DELUSION upon
those who PROFESS His name but do not keep His commandments
and do not have a TRUE faith.  It is a faith without works,
which is by Scriptural definition, a DEAD FAITH.  It is like
that barren fig tree which PRODUCES NO FRUIT and is good for
NOTHING except to be cursed or cast up and thrown into the
fire.  He is coming to JUDGE the earth and those who are
liars.  There will be no LIARS in heaven.  They have a
special place reserved for them "in the lake which burneth
with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Rev
21:8)  Why are they LIARS... because they SAY they belong
to Him and are His people but ARE NOT.  They SAY they love
the Truth and engage in religious RITUALS that have no power
to save and are an ABOMINATION to the Most High.

13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination
unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of
assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the
solemn meeting. 14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts
my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to
bear them. 15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will
hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I
will not hear: your hands are full of blood. 16 Wash you,
make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before
mine eyes; cease to do evil; 17 Learn to do well; seek
judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead
for the widow. Isa 1

The DEVIL is roaming about seeking whom he *MAY* devour...
Do you know whom he "may" devour?  He is allowed to (by the
Most High) devour those who are IGNORANT of the Truth
because they have REJECTED it when it was presented to them.

Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out
My hand, and no man regarded; but ye have set at nought all
My counsel, and would none of My reproof; I also will LAUGH
at YOUR CALAMITY; I will MOCK when YOUR FEAR COMETH (Prov.
1:24-26).

Consider the picture given to us by the Almighty... it is
a fearful one.  The devil is LIKE a lion seeking to devour.
(To kill to steal and to destroy)  How does he do this?
By the DECEPTION of those who might find the saving knowledge
of Truth.  He MASQUERADES as an "angel of light" and speaks
to people especially through their THOUGHT LIFE.  The "thoughts"
which they hear in their OWN HEAD are often the voice of the
enemy.  Because they have no discernment, and they do not
love the Truth, they are given over to these lies and they
BELIEVE THEM.  They believe they are hearing the voice of the
Holy Spirit when in fact they are being led by ANOTHER spirit.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are
gone out into the world. 1Jo 4:1

The devil is masquerading as the LIGHT GIVER... (The Holy
Spirit) The name "Lucifer" means "Light Giver" or "Light
Bearer". Light giver referring to the morning or evening
star, Venus. Actually the name meant to mean the "Brightest
Star".  He is a LIAR, the father of lies and would deceive
EVEN the very elect IF IT WERE POSSIBLE.  The elect cannot
and will not be deceived but all others CAN BE and WILL BE.

The Scriptures teach that wages of sin are DEATH.  Sin is
besetting the whole world and is destroying the whole world.
But those who are deceived by the false spirit they
mistakenly believe to be the Holy Spirit are in the worst
possible place of all... because they are CONVINCED they are
in a wonderful place, in a right relationship, going to
heaven, born again and have nothing to FEAR!  These are the
very same people depicted in Matthew 7 21-23:

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter
into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in
thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I
never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

What was their MARK?  It was the mark of the devil... It was
the FRUITLESS (works-less) life they led of comfortable
Christianity.  It was their belief that they had their
ticket punched and were "heaven-bound" according to that
spirit they followed.  The spirit that made it possible for
them to be BARREN of of good fruit and good works but who
"worked iniquity."  Not only were they barren of good fruit
but they actually produced EVIL FRUIT.  They "worked" or
DID... evil.  All the while seeing themselves as righteous
and approved by "God."  They have another god... but not the
Almighty.

encouraged to listen... to EXAMINE YOURSELF (by the standard
of Truth and the clear written Word and the saving power of
the True Holy Spirit.... with the witness of True saints to
assist you in seeing clearly...) to see IF YOU BE IN THE

soul?  What is salvation worth?  Most will not spend 2.5
hours on such a subject yet will spend more on movies, on
superbowls, on many DISTRACTIONS of this world, the flesh

*FEW* there be that find it... but the gate that leads to
destruction is WIDE and MANY go in thereat. Mat 7:13-14
